Double, Double Toil & Trouble!:
A witchy herb-infused afternoon to celebrate seasonal transitions
Date: Saturday, October 26th
Time: 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM (doors open at 2:15 PM)
Location: 2nd floor of Five Point, accessible by stairs
Price: $75
Dust off your cauldrons and spend an afternoon with Five Point’s Ashley Dyer (acupuncturist/herbalist) as she walks you through a slightly spooky and experiential introduction to East Asian herbal medicine. Together, we will explore:
Histories: Dive into a brief introduction of East Asian Herbal Medicine’s rich and textured history
Flavor Theory: Begin to experience how combinations of herbal medicine flavors operate to unlock healing potential through a tea tasting
Home & Community Practices: Snack on some ‘soul cakes’ as we discuss possibilities for integrating herbal learnings in preparation for Samhain while developing your own herb-infused autumnal simmer pot recipe
Participants will be gifted an herbal medicine goodie bag to harmonize with the autumnal season that includes:
Five Point original tea developed by our in-house herb lab
Simmer pot starter kit
A couple of fun autumnal surprises!
As we are leaning into some witchy and spooky tendencies during this workshop, we welcome all participants to don their hats, costumes, and seasonal accessories in celebration!
